Best Method Applied to Biological Data
This new prize is intended to encourage collaborative research between computational and experimental biologists. It will be awarded to the paper that, in the judging panel‚s opinion, is the best example of a paper in which a computational method has led to a new biological discovery.

The award will be given out at the Closing Ceremony, Wednesday, 4 August 14:50

ISMB/ECCB Best Paper Award by SGI
This will be awarded to the paper that, in the judging panel‚s opinion, is the best paper delivered during the conference.

Top Paper Prize - US $2,500
Runner up prize - US$1,000

ISMB/ECCB Best Student Paper Award by SGI
This will be awarded to the student paper that, in the judging panel‚s opinion, is the best student paper delivered during the conference.

ISMB/ECCB Best Poster Awards by SGI
The top 10 best posters presented at the ISMB/ECCB will be judged by ballot submissions from the ISMB/ECCB delegates.
