Limited Time Call for Late Posters Submission Period: June 1 – 10, 2007.
The submission site for Late Posters for ISMB/ECCB 2007 will open Friday, June 1 for 10 days only.

Accepted Late Posters are intended to be on display throughout the duration of the conference and will be included in the appropriate topic areas and author sessions among all other posters previously accepted.

Submission Guidelines

Conference limit is one poster per presenter, so if you already have an accepted poster an additional Late Poster will not be accepted. If you are not already presenting a poster and have research that you would like to present at ISMB/ECCB 2007 please review the following in preparation of your submission:

  • You must submit two versions of your poster abstract: a 50-word abstract that will be printed in the conference program and a one-page abstract (~250 words/ PDF format) that will be posted on the conference web site. Posters may cover material in any area of computational biology. Posters must include original work that is unpublished or published after August 1, 2006.
  • The abstract should not contain your title/position or any personal information (e.g. affiliation).
  • There is a maximum of one poster per presenting author. The presenting author of a poster must be present at the conference and be available at the poster session to which their poster is assigned.
  • The ideal poster size should be max. 1.30 m (130 cm) high x 0.90 m (90 cm) wide. Fasteners (Velcro / double sided tape) will be provided at the site, please DO NOT bring tape, tacks or pins.
  • ISMB/ECCB 2007 will not offer tables for laptop computer demos during the poster session. All abstracts will be considered a “personal communication” to the conference attendees. Abstracts will not be published in the proceedings, but will appear in the program and on the conference website.
  • Submitted posters will be reviewed and categorized into the following general areas:
