ISCB believes that forging links between industry and the Society will result in great benefit to the computational biology community as a whole. The Corporate Sponsorship is aimed at organizations with investment in bioinformatics, who wish to contribute to the development of this critical interdisciplinary field through the ISCB. This can be achieved by supporting ISCB through the establishment of bioinformatics as a scientific profession, developing new career opportunities for bioinformatics scientists and by benefiting from some of the ISCB's initiatives as a broker for recruitment and consultancy.
