ISMB/ECCB 2011 features a one day student symposium  - "7th ISCB Student Council Symposium" on Friday, July 15th, directly preceding the Tutorials day. This is an ISCB Student Council (http://www.iscbsc.org/) organized event featuring keynote lectures, contributed oral presentations and a poster session with a variety of distinguished speakers from industry and academia. The Symposium is tailored mainly to undergraduate and graduate students as well as post-docs in computational biology and related disciplines.  This is once again a unique opportunity to meet fellow students and researchers for networking and exchange of ideas in a great environment. Furthermore, the symposium is offering travel fellowships to support students in need. And there are awards for the best presentation and the best poster.

During ISMB/ECCB 2011 childcare arrangements have been organized with with Nanny Service Austria  a Professional Nanny service in Vienna.
Specialized care for your child is available on one-off requirements or over the course of the four days with childcare in the hotel available. Individual pricing is available for a variety of activities and outings that are age appropriate for the needs of the delegates child.

Qualifications:
  • Trained childcare teachers
  • Trainee childcare teachers 
  • Nannies with a great deal of experience in childcare
