Newsletter Cover Image Competition

Announcing a competition for the cover image of the ISCB Newsletter open to all ISCB student/trainee members! Submitted images should be artistically effective and related to biology, computational biology or bioinformatics. The winning image will be selected by the ISCB Executive Committee.

Competition Open to: Registered ISCB Student/Trainee Members only Deadline for first round of entries: October 1, 2006

Before submitting any image, please ensure that: a) you are the copyright holder of the image; or b) the image is in the public domain. A biographical sketch of the winner will be published in the Newsletter, together with a short statement about his/her interests and future plans. This is your chance to show the world what you can do and make yourself and your CV known to the whole community!

By entering the competition, you grant ISCB the right to publicly display your image on its web site, newsletters, marketing materials such as, but not limited to, publications, books, magazines, newspapers, CDs and/or any other media for the ISCB organization and its members' promotion. Any 1st place winning image in a prior competition is not allowed entry again.
