There is still time to submit your research to this dynamic conference and help shape the incredible science!  We invite abstracts for research that is topical to bioinformatics and computational biology, which is in progress (unpublished, formally Late-Breaking Research) or has been published (after January 1, 2017, previously Highlights Track) for consideration for oral and/or poster presentation.  Research may be presented as both a talk and a poster or just a poster.

Funding opportunity for U.S. Scientists in Informatics
Deadline:  September 1, 2018
The PhRMA Foundation’s mission is to support young U.S. scientists in disciplines important to the pharmaceutical industry by awarding them competitive research fellowships and grants. 2019 funding opportunities are available at pre-doctoral, post-doctoral, starter grant and sabbatical levels. The goal of the Informatics Program is to promote the use and development of informatics in an integrative approach towards the understanding of human biological and disease processes. Informatics awards will support career development of scientists engaged in research that significantly integrates cutting-edge information technology with advanced biological, chemical, and pharmacological sciences.


Launch of All of Us Research Program
Enrollment for the National Institutes of Health’s All of Us Research Program is officially open! The All of Us Research Program is a momentous effort to advance individualized prevention, treatment and care for people of all backgrounds. The program’s goal is to enroll 1 million or more volunteers, and oversample communities that have been underrepresented in research to make the program the largest, most diverse resource of its kind.
