ISMB/ECCB 2007 will be held in Vienna, Austria and is jointly hosted by the International Society for Computational Biology (ISCB) and the European Conference on Computational Biology (ECCB).

The conference, July 21 – 25, is preceded by Special Interest Group Meetings (SIGs) on July 19 and July 20.

ISMB/ECCB 2007 provides a multidisciplinary forum for disseminating the latest developments in bioinformatics. Bringing together over 2000 international scientists from the fields of computer science, molecular biology, molecular medicine, mathematics, and statistics the conference will focus on the development and application of advanced computational methods for biological problems.

    ISMB/ECCB 2007 will feature a special track of half-day Special Sessions to run throughout the conference. These sessions have the purpose of introducing relevant scientific issues and topics that are typically not within the focus of an ISMB/ECCB meeting.

    **Call for Special Interest Group Meetings (SIGs) Now Closed**

    ISMB/ECCB 2007 will be preceded by two days of Special Interest Group meetings (SIGs) on Thursday, July 19 and Friday, July 20, 2007. Scientists and professionals working in bioinformatics and computational biology are invited to submit proposals to organize SIG meetings. Full details on SIGs are now available.

    ISMB/ECCB 2007 will feature half-day tutorial sessions on Saturday, July 21, 2007. Scientists and professionals working in bioinformatics and computational biology are invited to submit proposals to conduct a conference tutorial. Full details on Tutorial submissions are now available.
