ISCB Student Travel Fellowships
Offered
ECCB 2006
Through member donations and proceeds from
past ISMB conferences, ISCB is pleased to award $5,000 USD in travel
fellowship funds to assist four ISCB student/post doc members to
attend the European Conference on Computational Biology in Eilat,
Israel, January 21-24, 2007. The ISCB funds, together with funds
from other sources, are helping to bring over 50 students/post docs
to ECCB, providing an influential experience at this early stage
in their research careers.
PSB 2007 and RECOMB 2007
In fulfillment of the ISCB mission of advancing
our science, we will once again support student travel fellowships
to the Pacific Symposium on Biocomputing in January, and the conference
on Research in Computational Molecular Biology in April. Be sure
to submit your applications for consideration of these limited funds.
PSB 2007 Application form available August 1, 2006.
Check the website for updates: psb.stanford.edu/
RECOMB 2007 Application form available January
5, 2007. Check the website for updates: www.recomb2007.com/
ISMB/ECCB 2007
Once again, ISMB and ECCB will partner for
a joint conference July 21-25, 2007 in Vienna, Austria, and a travel
fellowship fund will be developed. Watch the conference website
for details on submission procedures and deadlines. www.iscb.org/ismbeccb2007
