The safety of conference participants is ISCB’s top priority. Please take a moment to review the Health and Safety Protocols at https://www.iscb.org/iscb-policy-statements/iscb-health-and-safety-protocols, which outline the right of entry requirement to the conference.

Depending on where you live, you will need to meet certain entry requirements to visit Canada. Detailed information on what information is needed to travel to Canada can be found on this site.

If you require a visa letter to support your application, please review the information here.  We recommend this is completed after you register for the conference and no less than 12 weeks (March 4, 2026) in advance of the conference. Visa letters will still be processed after this date, but may not be approved in time.

Registration is for the full conference.  The conference is offered in person only.

Registration includes the following conference benefits:

  • 100+ expected scientific talks and posters
  • World-class keynotes from national and international experts
  • Dynamic panel discussions exploring emerging opportunities and challenges in the field
  • Question and answer feature to engage with the speaker during sessions
  • Vibrant networking sessions designed to foster new collaborations and partnerships
  • Award Ceremony celebrating Canadian excellence in bioinformatics, computational biology, and data science
  • Pre-conference workshops dedicated to supporting the next generation (additional fee) on May 27 - coffee breaks and lunch included
  • Lunch and coffee breaks are included for the conference May 28-29
  • Live sessions with on-demand recordings to benefit attendees for future viewing

CBHC 2026 acknowledges the cultural and cognitive fatigue that comes with constant adaptations for Francophones in scientific environments in Canada. While the conference will be conducted primarily in English, presenters may choose to present in French, and efforts will be made to support bilingual accessibility where possible.
