Software Demonstration Program
The purpose of the ISMB/ECCB 2004 Software Demonstration session is to allow organizations to demonstrate—in private rooms—their software/hardware relevant to the bioinformatics/molecular biology community. Demonstration times will be scheduled throughout the conference and are open to corporations, non-profit organizations, government labs, and university staff and students.

For-profit company US$3,000
Students No Charge

  • Up to 2-hours of demonstration time (ISMB/ECCB to schedule)
  • Listing in conference program with description of software and demonstration time
  • Listing in conference schedule
  • AV equipment provided LCD projector, screen, and microphone (all additional equipment required will be charged at cost to the presenting organization)
  • Private demonstration room

Format

Each demo presentation will be allotted a one hour or a two hour time slot where the last 10 minutes will be reserved for preparation of the next demo. A maximum of two hours can be allotted within the times and dates listed on Agenda page. Slots will be filled on first come first serve basis for non-profit demos, and major sponsors first for corporate demos.

Confirmation

Following receipt of the sign up form and payment, you will be contacted by a ISMB/ECCB 2004 demo committee member to arrange your demo schedule and logistics.

Deadlines/Cancellations

Any demo slot requests or changes which should make it into the program, will have to be before May 15, 2004.

Cancellations must be received in writing to ISCB at 4602 Finsen Avenue, San Diego, CA 92122, e-mail sponsorship04@ismbconf.org or fax +1-858-623-0050. A full refund less US$100 administration fee if cancellation received prior to May 16, 2004. 50% refund if cancellation received between May 16 and June 16, 2004. No refund after June 16, 2004.
