Computational Biologist/Bioinformatician(m/f/d)
RCI Regensburg Center for Interventional Immunology

The RCI develops new immunotherapies for the treatment of tumours, autoimmune diseases and transplant rejections. The Next-Generation-Sequencing Core Facility (headed by Prof. Dr. Michael Rehli) supports the RCI researchers in high-throughput data generation, processing, analysis, visualisation and interpretation, as well as by providing IT infrastructure, software training and consulting services. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Computational Biologist/Bioinformatician with enthusiasm for academic research to join our team as a staff scientist.
Analysis and integration of multi-omics datasets for solving complex scientific questions.
Development of workflows&piplines


-Academic degree (MSc/PhD) in a relevant field (e.g. Bioinformatics, Informatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics, Data Sciences), preferably with a background in NGS analysis
- Experience in programming and/or analysing data (e.g. using R, Python, Perl, C++) as well as reproducible workflows and version control
-Knowledge of standard bioinformatics tools for analyzing and interpreting Next Generation Sequencing data
-Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Interest to communicate, to collaborate, to connect different scientific disciplines and to contribute to multidisciplinary teams
