Researcher – Plant Spatiotemporal OmicsBGI Group

1. Lead and conduct spatiotemporal single-cell multi-omics research in plants, including integrative bioinformatics analysis, algorithm/tool development, and high-impact scientific publication.
2. Develop cutting-edge computational tools and algorithms for plant spatiotemporal omics, including image-based recognition, spatial transcriptomics, metabolomics, proteomics, and epigenomics data integration.
3. Establish and maintain collaborations with leading global research institutions, co-supervise graduate students, and publish high-level research papers.
Qualifications
1. PhD in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with 2+ years of postdoctoral or research experience in a high-level academic institution.
2. Strong background in bioinformatics, statistical modeling, and algorithm development.
3. Proven track record with at least 2 first-author or corresponding-author publications in bioinformatics or computational biology (Q1/top-tier journals preferred).
4. Preferred experience:
Plant spatiotemporal omics (spatial transcriptomics, single-cell omics).
Multi-omics data integration (transcriptomics, metabolomics, proteomics, epigenomics).
5. Strong independent research ability, excellent English scientific writing skills, and a keen interest in plant development, stress responses, or secondary metabolism.
6. Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
