The Institute of Molecular Biotechnology of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (IMBA) and the Research Institute of Molecular Pathology (IMP), are seeking a
Staff Bioinformatician (f/m/d, full-time, 40 hrs/week)
to join the Bioinformatics Services Core Facility in Vienna, Austria.

Qualifications

• PhD degree in computational life sciences, in biology, or related fields.
• Expertise in machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques.
• At least 2 years of postdoctoral research and/or team leader experience in academia or industry.
• A proven track record of impactful contributions in computational life sciences.
• Leadership and mentorship experiences highly desired, with the ability to foster collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
