The Computational Biology and Cancer Regulatory Genomics (CBCRG) Lab (
https://khanlab.bio ) is looking for a highly motivated Research Engineer/Associate with a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field. The ideal candidate will support research in gene regulation, cancer (epi)genomics, and multi-omics data analysis and integration. This role is ideal for those interested in advancing their computational biology skills while contributing to impactful biomedical research.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field.
Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages used in bioinformatics.
Knowledge of next-generation sequencing (NGS) analysis and genome annotation tools.
Familiarity with statistical and machine learning approaches in genomics.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Hands-on experience with the version control Git/GitHub
Excellent communication and scientific writing skills.
