| ISCB is eager to support the growth of regional and specialist meetings. One such meeting is the first ISCB Latin America Conference in Montevideo, Uruguay, taking place in March, 2010 (exact dates to be announced). The meeting will be supported by ISCB, the Institut Pasteur in Montevideo, the Brazilian Bioinformatics Network (AB3B), the Iberoamerican Bioinformatics Network (the "RIB" links more than 20 research groups from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela, as well as Spain) and the University of the Republic, Uruguay.
