3D RNA Modeling Workshop
United States - CA - Stanford

Hosted by: Simbios, Stanford University
Venue: Stanford University
Dates: Jun 19, 2009 through Jun 19, 2009

Description

Interested in creating 3D RNA structures from limited experimental data?
Want to generate an ensemble of physically plausible RNA structures?

At Simbios’ 3D RNA Modeling workshop, we will present new tools that generate structures and dynamical trajectories based on your own hypotheses, limited experimental information, and/or initial coordinates. These molecular modeling tools – NAST (Nucleic Acid Simulation Tool) and RNABuilder – are designed to be easily applied by experimentalists to problems of current biological interest, and you will have the opportunity to apply these tools to your own data during the workshop.

The workshop is targeted towards those who work with RNA biology and have an interest in creating 3D models that may assist them in understanding the function or dynamics of their favorite RNA model.

When: June 19, 2009
Where: Stanford University

Registration is free but required since spaces are limited.

Please visit the website http://simbios.stanford.edu/RNAWorkshop.htm for more details, including the online registration form.

Simbios is an NIH-supported National Center for Biomedical Computing that is focused on physics-based simulations of biological structures (http://simbios.stanford.edu). Simbios software tools can be found at http://simtk.org.
