| This Computational and Integrative Biology workshop (CIB) is a satellite meeting of the series Integrative Bioinformatics International Symposium (IB). This meeting will be of interest to Bioinformaticians, Computer Scientists, Biologist and others working in, or interested in finding out more about, the developing area of integrative biology. There will be opportunities to present and discuss methods, theoretical approaches, and their practical applications. IB series meetings are chaired by Prof. Dr. Ralf Hofestädt, University of Bielefeld, Germany. This CIB is co-organized by the Prof. Dr. Ming Chen, Zhejiang University ,China. Topics of interest: Database integration. Molecular databases / Data warehouses. Tool integration and workflow systems. Prediction and integration of metabolic and regulatory networks. Network analysis. Protein-protein interactions. Integrative microarray modeling and analyses. Virtual cell. Computational systems biology. Integrative modelling and simulation frameworks. Integrative data and text mining approaches. Data visualisation and visual analytics. Important dates: 1st July 2009: Extended abstract submission deadline (up to 4 pages). 1st August 2009: Notification of acceptance for abstracts. 23th August 2009: Camera ready abstract submission deadline. 31st August 2009: Poster and software submission deadline. 5th September 2009: Notification of acceptance for poster and software demo abstracts. 18th - 20th September 2009: Workshop. Accepted abstracts/papers will probably appear in the Journal of Integrative Bioinformatics and will be available as printed conference proceedings. |
