| The aim of this meeting, that follows on a series of Spanish Bioinformatics Conferences (Jornadas de Bioinformática), is to provide a forum to present and discuss recent research developments in the broad field of Bioinformatics. In 2009 the conference is co-organized by the Spanish and Portuguese Bioinformatics Networks, with the objective of strengthening the cooperation links between researchers in the two countries. The Program Committee seeks contributions (poster and oral) in English, in the following areas: * Algorithms for computational biology * Sequence analysis, phylogenetics and evolution * Structural bioinformatics * Analysis of high throughput data * Systems biology * Information systems for computational biology * Tools and technologies for computational biology |
