InCoB is an annual international conference initiated by the Asia Pacific Bioinformatics Network (APBioNet). The main objective of the InCoB is to provide a platform for experts and budding bioinformaticians to discuss and exchange ideas and thoughts on the development of bioinformatics in the Asia Pacific region. The first conference was successfully held in Bangkok in 2002, and the second in Penang, Malaysia in 2003. The Allan Wilson Center for Molecular Ecology and Evolution and the Bioinformatics Institute is proud to jointly host the third meeting in Auckland, New Zealand. The importance of bioinformatics in the face of the ever-increasing amounts of biological data cannot be denied. The International Conference on Bioinformatics (InCoB) is an international forum for bioinformaticists and computational biologists. Oral and poster presentations are invited for the following symposia: Evolutionary Bioinformatics Genome Bioinformatics Biomedical Bioinformatics Agricultural Bioinformatics Microarrays & Proteomics Applications & Platforms The conference will also feature a DIMACS-sponsored symposium on Phylogenetics and Rapidly Evolving Pathogens. |
