GMOD Europe 2010 is a four day event starting with a two day GMOD Community Meeting, followed by GMOD Satellite Meetings and workshops on the InterMine and BioMart biological data warehousing tools over the next two days. GMOD Europe 2010 is hosted by the Cambridge Computational Biology Institute at the University of Cambridge, 13-16 September, 2010. GMOD is a collection of interoperable, open source software components for managing, annotating, and visualizing biological data. It is also a community of researchers and developers addressing common challenges with their data. GMOD includes the GBrowse and JBrowse genome viewers, the MAKER genome annotation pipeline, the Galaxy workflow system, the GBrowse_syn synteny viewer, the Apollo genome annotation editor, the Chado database schema and many other programs that address common needs.
