KAUST Workshop on Quantitative biology: a matter of perspective | |
Italy - Rome |
|
Hosted by: | Anna Tramontano |
Venue: | Sapienza University |
Dates: | Jun 22, 2011 through Jun 24, 2011 |
Description |
|
Twenty-five years ago, Cyrus Chothia and Arthur Lesk published a seminal paper (1) that illustrated the promise of quantitative computational analysis of biological data. We used the occasion of this anniversary to gather experts in the field of computational biology to discuss the many challenges that must be overcome if we are to realize the power of quantitative computational biology in the life sciences.
