| The 22nd International Conference on Genome Informatics (GIW-2011) Busan, Korea, December 5-7, 2011 The Official Conference of the Association of Asian Societies for Bioinformatics (AASBi) http://www.kobic.re.kr/giw2011/ International Conference on Genome Informatics (GIW) is the longest running international bioinformatics conference. The first GIW was held at Tokyo in 1990. Since then, GIW has been held annually around the countries in Asia-Pacific region. This year’s GIW is the 22nd anniversary. Korean Society for Bioinformatics and Systems Biology (KSBSB) is honored to host GIW2011. We are delighted to give you a warm welcome to Busan, Korea. Original papers are solicited for the GIW2011. Papers are welcomed in all areas encompassing theoretical and practical issues of bioinformatics. Contributed papers are subject to peer review. Publications All accepted papers of GIW2011 will be recommended to be published as journal papers by BMC Bioinformatics, BMC Genomics, BMC Systems Biology, Journal of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (JBCB), or Interdisciplinary Bio Central (IBC). Keynote Speakers David Bartel: Whitehead/MIT/HHMI Luis Serrano: Centre for Genomic Regulation, Barcelona, Spain Alfonso Valencia: Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO), Madrid, Spain and more Submissions Full papers are limited to 12 pages, including title, abstract (250 words or less), figures, tables, text, and bibliography. The first page should give keywords, authors’ postal and electronic mailing addresses. Papers must not have been previously published and must not be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. Papers will be submitted electronically in MS Word, postscript or PDF format through the conference website at http://www.kobic.re.kr/giw2011.
