The International Centre of Excellence for Education in Mathematics(ICE_EM) and the Australinan Mathematical Sciences Institute(AMSI) Workshop on "Mathematics and Computational Biology" is directed primarily towards PhD, MSc and Honours students who are interested in Mathematics and Computational Biology, as well as researchers in other areas who are interested in broadening their horizons. The School will introduce skills and research problems in specific forefront areas of computational biology. Topics include Complex biological systems, Pattern analysis and data mining, Computational modelling and visualisation of cells, Computational complexity, and Parallel computing and simulation.
