This a COST financed activity. The training School will be hosted by SLU and UPPMAX/UPPNEX. Topics will include de novo assembly, variant calling, RNAseq and genome annotation. Preliminary programme: Day 1, May 28: Data storage & Management Day 2, May 29: Sequence assembly Day 3, May 30: NGS Data analysis Day 4, May 31: Sequence annotation The training school will end with the “COST workshop: Next Generation Sequencing, what´s next?” Application The applicants need to send a CV, a letter of motivation and a reference letter from a supervisor or Department responsible to: sara.a.hagman@gmail.com. Dead-line for applications: 15 February 2012. The Selected students (20) for the Action BM1006 (10) for Action FA0806 and (10) for Action TD0801 will receive a grant of 1000€ to support travel and daily allowance and will be notified the 15th of March 2012. The selection will be done by respective Action Management Committee, therefore it is compulsory to indicate the Action you are applying to. The COST Training School is free of charge.
