| Translational Bioinformatics Conference 2014 will be jointly held with ISB(International Conference on Systems Biology) in Oct., 24th-27th Qingdao, China with a mix of computer scientists, biologists, scientists, engineers, physicists, statisticians, and physicians together to create unique intellectual environment. TBC / ISB 2014 will aim to highlight the multi-disciplinary nature research field and provide an opportunity to bring together and exchange ideas between genomics, bioinformatics, and translational researchers. Translational bioinformatics is a rapidly emerging field of biomedical data sciences and informatics technologies that efficiently translate basic molecular, genetic, cellular, and clinical data into health products or implications. Topics: . Next-Gen Sequencing for Personal Genomics, Cancer Genomics and Metagenomics . Rare and common variants of human genome . Epigenomics, non-coding RNAs, and DNA methylation analysis . Genome-Phenome-Envirome Network Analysis . Microarray analysis and functional genomics for disease . Biomarkers, Drug Discovery and Pharmacogenomics . Biomedical Text/Data Mining and Visualization . Network Biology/Medicine and Pathway/Regulation Analysis . Biomedical Intelligence, Clinical Informatics, and Health Record . Semantic Biology/Medicine and Biomedical Ontologies Important Dates: . Paper submission due on July 1st, 2014 . Notification of paper acceptance on August 1st, 2014 . Final manuscript of full paper due on September 1st, 2014 . Highlight track submission due on September 30th, 2014 Selected manuscripts are reviewed by the journal editors and will be published late 2014. Authors can choose their manuscripts to be published in the sponsor journals. Twenty papers in TBC 2013 were published in JAMIA and BMC Medical Genomics. Submissions: All accepted papers of TBC 2014 will be recommended to be published as journal papers by JAMIA (J Am Med Inform Assoc), METHODS, BMC Medical Genomics, IET Systems Biology, BioData Mining, Healthcare Informatics Research. Full papers are limited to 12 pages, including title, abstract, figures, tables, text, and bibliography. Papers must not have been previously published and must not be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. Papers will be submitted electronically in MS Word, postscript or PDF format through the conference website.
