Call for participation:
Kyushu Institute of Tehnology, Iizuka invites applications for participation in its first two-day workshop and one-day symposium, according to the schedule posted on the event URL.

Training workshop:
Training workshop is aimed at providing an overview of the most pressing issues in the field of Bioinformatics today. Lectures on widely ranging topics from generic bioinformatics tools and databases to specialized topics of systems biology, protein-protein, protein-DNA and protein-ligand interactions will be provided. We expect graduate students, university teachers aiming to start bioinformatics research and corporate researchers to register. Special focus is aimed at Asian and other developing countries.

Symposium:
A one-day international symposium will be held on December 11, 2004. State-of-the-art expert talks on selected topics will be delivered. All talks in this category are by invitation. However, graduate students are encouraged to submit a poster as part of this symposium. Please send a one page abstract.
