| The Department of Mathematics and the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science at Simon Fraser University are unveiling Vancouver Machine Learning, a new conference series. It will be held at the Harbour Centre after the Neural Information Processing Systems conference (it will be held on December 16th). This year, the topic is Machine Learning in Genomics, and our speakers include Dr. Jennifer Listgarten, Dr. Sharon Browning, Dr. David Aanensen, Dr. Alexander Bouchard-Côté, Dr. Xuekui Zhang, and Dr. Caroline Colijn. The registration fee for this one-day conference is $50 and it would be our pleasure to welcome you and your students to this conference.
