| BioMeet 2005 (June 23, 2005) is a networking event for healthcare-IT professionals and is open to anyone with a biomedical / IT focus including but not limited to Pharma / Biotech companies, Federal government agencies, hospitals, law firms specializing in biotech IP, etc. The benefits of attending the event include: * Networking with local businesses, Federal agencies and healthcare/IT companies * Understanding skills needed for biotech / pharma / healthcare consulting careers * Finding jobs / internships with the government or with biotech / consulting firms * Identifying business / contracting opportunities with commercial / government agencies * Meeting with UMD / JHU etc. grads and experienced individuals from local firms To attend, please RSVP to PerlSource (info@perlsource.net) with your name, educational qualifications, present employer and specific reasons for attending (networking / job / business opportunities, etc). The event is free to attend but space is limited and registration will close as soon as available seats are filled so please confirm your attendance early. The attire is business casual. Event sponsorship: Companies who wish to sponsor the First BioMeet are invited to write to PerlSource for details. Sponsors obtain greater exposure to their business, gain an opportunity to showcase company credentials in front of a variety of professionals, enhance their contacts and business opportunities through networking and can identify qualified employees.
