Description

This meeting will highlight new advances in the field, including the application of structural analysis and systems biology/computational approaches to the study of stress responses. The sessions will include the following topics: dissecting regulatory networks; general stress responses; sensing of DNA replication and DNA damage; survival of microbes in hosts; survival of microbes in nature; plasticity in adaptive mechanisms; oxidative stress response; global adaptation to stress; and stress and metal. Both prokaryotic and eukaryotic microbes are represented, and the topics address a broad array of microbial systems.

This conference is now open for applications. Those interested in participating should apply using the URL listed below; a number of submitted abstracts will be selected for short oral presentations. We especially encourage students and postdoctoral fellows to apply to this very interactive meeting.
