CASP6.5--Between CASP meeting 2006
United States - NY - New York

Hosted by: Critical Assessment of Structure Prediction
Venue: Alfred Lerner Hall, Columbia University
Dates: May 01, 2006 through May 01, 2006

Description

For the first time, we will organize a public meeting between two CASPs.

This "Between CASP" meeting will be held at Columbia University in the City of New York on May 1, 2006.

The idea of this meeting is to report the progress of structure prediction as assessed by the meetings on the Critical Assessment of Structure Prediction (CASP) to the public. In contrast to the CASP meetings that are exclusively for participants who develop prediction methods, this meeting will be open to the public. Assessors and predictors will present their perspectives on the state-of-the-art in structure prediction.

The preliminary scientific program appears under Meeting Schedule . We encourage foreign attendees to initiate visa applications soon. If letters of invitation are required, the organizers will be happy to provide them.
