Description
 
The Education and Research Organization for Genome Information Science is a joint bioinformatics education program between the Bioinformatics Center of Kyoto University and the Human Genome Center of the University of Tokyo. It is supported by the special coordination fund for promoting science and technology from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan. As an occasion in the final year of the five-year program, this symposium is organized to exchange ideas and experiences among different bioinformatics education and research programs in the world.
