| ISMB 2008 provides a multidisciplinary forum for disseminating the latest developments in bioinformatics. ISMB 2008 will bring together over 2000 international scientists from the fields of computer science, molecular biology, molecular medicine, mathematics, and statistics. The conference will focus on the development and application of advanced computational methods for biological problems. ISMB 2008 will encourage increased participation of experimental biology, as well as from industry. This guiding goal will impact the organization of the meeting in many ways.
