LATIN AMERICAN STUDENT COUNCIL SYMPOSIUM

Submit your abstract now for the 1st Latin American Student Council Symposium organized by the ISCB Student Council!

The Latin American Student Council Symposium 2014 will bring together young computational biologists from several research areas and regions of the world. As the central part of our symposium, 10 students will be selected for oral presentations from the submitted abstracts. Being a small and student focused meeting, this gives you a better chance of being selected for an oral presentation. This is your chance to present your work to an international audience of young scientists. We welcome abstracts covering both scientific studies as well as novel tools and applications in the field of computational biology and bioinformatics.

Please note that submissions for LA-SCS is separate from submissions for the main ISCB-LA conference. Abstracts submitted to ISCB-LA may be re-submitted to LA-SCS too!

We hope to be able to offer Travel Fellowships to some students too. Travel Fellowship information will be sent to eligible students after the end of abstract submission.
