Science in Society Committee

The Science in Society Committee promotes the importance of computational biology professions and science communication worldwide.  The committee endeavors to

  • Influence legislation, regulation and funding as a reputable voice for computational biology;
  • Build relationships with the media and the press increasing science communications;
  • Educate and train the computational biology community on science communication to the public;
  • Enhance the understanding in the public at large of science and the importance of scientific research
