Nominations for the 2020 Class of Fellows are Open!

Nominations Deadline - December 04, 2019

The International Society for Computational Biology introduced the ISCB Fellows Program in 2009 to honor members that have distinguished themselves through outstanding contributions to the fields of computational biology and bioinformatics. During the inaugural year of the program, ISCB conferred the Fellow status on the seven winners-to-date of the ISCB Accomplishment by a Senior Scientist Award, and recognized these distinguished scientists during the ISMB/ECCB 2009 conference in Stockholm, Sweden. Since then ISCB has sought nominations from our community of members, which are reviewed and voted upon by a selection committee

Genetic Damon Runyon Launches New Quantitative Biology Award!
ISCB Members involved in helping young scientists become next generation of leaders in the field! The Damon Runyon Quantitative Biology Fellowship Award of young scientists will support a new generation of computational scientists who will pioneer novel approaches to the design and interpretation of experiments in cancer research, to answer a myriad of important biological and clinical questions.

The NIH Maximizing Opportunities for Scientific and Academic Independent Careers (MOSAIC) program is designed to facilitate the transition of promising postdoctoral researchers from diverse backgrounds, such as individuals from groups underrepresented in the biomedical research workforce at the faculty level, into independent faculty careers at research-intensive institutions. 2019 ISCB Wikipedia Competition - Accepting Submissions!
The International Society for Computational Biology (ISCB) and the Computational Biology taskforce of WikiProject Molecular Biology announce the 9th ISCB Wikipedia Competition: the competition aims to improve the coverage on Wikipedia of any aspect of computational biology. The competition is open to students and trainees at any level either as individuals or as groups.
