PLoS Computational Biology (EISSN 1553-7358, ISSN 1553-734X) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal published monthly by the Public Library of Science (PLoS) as an official journal of the International Society for Computational Biology. The journal is has an international Editorial Board, headed by the Editor-in-Chief, Ruth Nussinov, a Professor at Tel Aviv University and Princial Investigator of the National Cancer Institute.

Bioinformatics (EISSN: 14602059, ISSN: 13674803) is an official journal of the ISCB published by Oxford University Press as a traditional subscription publication and as an open-access journal for author's choosing to publish their papers that way. The journal is run by an international Editorial Board, headed by the Executive Editors Janet Kelso of the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology and Alfonso Valencia of the Spanish National Cancer Research Center (CNIO).
