The ISMB 2000 Conference Exhibit Show will be held in the Price Center Gallery A&B Exact spacing of the show will be determined by the number of exhibitors, and will be no closer than that shown in the floor plan. See http://ismb00.sdsc.edu/exhibitassign.html for current exhibit area assignments. Space is assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.

Exhibit Space (4’ x 7’): $1,000

• 1-30" x 72" draped table

• Half-page (7" x 4.675") in the final program book

As a courtesy to the participants and your fellow exhibitors, it is requested that you open your exhibit on time each morning and staff it throughout the day until the schedule closing hour. Deliveries and removal of equipment must be made before and after exhibit hours.

EXHIBIT SPACE Reservations

Reservations for an exhibit space must be received by July 3 to be included in the printed program book. We will accept reservations for space after July 3 if space is available, however inclusion in the on-site program book cannot be guaranteed.

Payment

Please complete the attached form and make checks payable to UC Regents (ISMB2000).

RESERVATION CONFIRMATION

You will receive a confirmation of your reservation along with additional information for Exhibitors. If you do not receive this information by July 10, please e-mail inquiries to the following: ismb2000exhibits@sdsc.edu

Cancellation Policy

If notification of cancellation received by July 3, 2000, 90% of the fee will be refunded. No refunds after July 3, 2000. Cancellations should be made by e-mail to ismb2000exhibits@sdsc.edu

Hospitality Suites

Industry sponsored dinners, receptions, entertainment activities and/or meetings may not be scheduled in direct conflict with scientific sessions. Thank you for adhering to this.

Receiving, shipping and storage of materials

Due to space and storage constraints, we are unable to receive and store items for more than five days in advance of the conference. Please ship all materials to arrive on or after August 14, 2000. Please label all materials as follows:

Conference Delivery Directions to the Price Center Loading Dock:

From Hwy 5 exit Genesee East.
Turn right at 2nd light on to Campus Point Road.
Turn right on Voigt Road and proceed over the freeway.
Turn left at 3rd stop sign on to Matthews Lane.
This will bring you to the cul-de-sac in back of Price Center.
The 1st and 2nd shipping bays are for Price Center.

SECURITY

After hours security will be provided by the ISMB2000 organizers beginning Saturday, August 20 through close of show on Wednesday, August 23. However, the University accepts no responsibility for items which may be lost or stolen in its facilities.

DAMAGES

Your organization is responsible for the behavior of its guests, employees, patrons and contactors. Any loss or damages occurring to the facility or equipment as a direct result of any of the above, shall become the responsibility of your organization. The University Center reserves the right to repair damages and replace equipment and charge your organization for such repairs.

INDEMNITY

The exhibitor assumes entire responsibility and hereby agrees to protect, indemnify, defend and save the University of California, San Diego, and their officers, employees, and agents, harmless against all claims, losses and damages to persons or property, governmental charges or fines and attorney's fees arising out of or caused by Exhibitor's installation, removal, maintenance, occupancy or use of the exhibiting premises or a part thereof, excluding such liability caused by the sole negligence of the parties referred to above. In addition, the Exhibitor acknowledges that the University of California, San Diego, does not maintain insurance covering the Exhibitor's property and that it is the sole responsibility of the Exhibitor to obtain business interruption and property damage insurance covering such losses by the Exhibitor.

Software Demonstrations: $500

Software demos are available for scheduled times during the exhibit show hours. The demonstrations will take place on the exhibit floor throughout the day. Click on the link above for additional information on how to sign up for Software Demo participation.

Job Fair Participation: $500 each company

Giveaways and prizes: Donation of your choice

In addition to the above mentioned opportunities, there are several other opportunities for you to get involved in the meeting. Each attendee will be given a conference bag and other "freebies". Your company can leave a lasting impression by providing these with your company logo imprinted on them.
