The University of Arizona IGERT Program in Genomics is sponsoring an international meeting on evolutionary genomics. It will bring together leading researchers on genome evolution of both prokaryotes and eukaryotes, including empirical, theoretical, and computational approaches. The meeting will take place at the Marriott Hotel adjacent to the University of Arizona campus in Tucson January 16-17, 2004. The format of the meeting will allow considerable time for informal discussion and interaction among participants. Participation by graduate students and postdoctoral fellows is strongly encouraged, and discounted rates for registration are available.
