Computational Systems Biology and Dose Response Modeling Workshop | |
United States - NC - Research Triangle Park |
|
Hosted by: | The Hamner Institutes for Health Sciences |
Venue: | The Hamner Institutes for Health Sciences |
Dates: | Sep 12, 2011 through Sep 16, 2011 |
Description |
|
In this course you will learn: (1) Current computational modeling techniques for the quantitative investigation of how biological systems respond to perturbations at the cellular level. (2) Common motifs in signal transduction and gene regulatory networks that underlie systems-level cellular behaviors including homeostasis, adaptive stress response, threshold response, binary and irreversible cell fate decisions, and oscillatory behaviors. (3)To use these techniques to develop computational tools for understanding and predicting nonlinear dose response behaviors for environmental agent and drug toxicity testing in the 21st century For information on our previous offering of the workshop, please visit: http://www.thehamner.org/about-the-hamner/education-training/dose-response-modeling/#2008 |
