| Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research (PRIM&R) will host its 2011 Advancing Ethical Research Conference on December 2-4 in National Harbor, MD, with pre-conference programs on December 1. For 37 years, PRIM&R has offered educational events where professionals gather to discover, discuss, and debate issues affecting the world of research ethics and oversight. Always a tremendous learning and networking opportunity, this dynamic meeting serves those involved in every facet of the research arena. The 2011 Advancing Ethical Research Conference will bring together nearly 3,000 professionals from public and private institutions, the federal government, and industry. Attendees will gain important insights, fresh strategies, and will develop essential skill-sets through a series of 16 concrete and stimulating panel presentations and discussions, as well as via their participation in more than 140 highly practical workshops and didactic sessions.
