Description

The conference series was founded to provide a forum for advances in computational biology and bioinformatics with the aim to bridge the computational, mathematical, statistical, and biological sciences by bringing together researchers, professionals, students and industry to interact and exchange new developments in bioinformatics and computational biology.

The conference will feature keynote talks, presentations and poster session with awards for best presentations by post-doctoral and student attendees. Join us to discuss the latest findings in computational challenges in drug discovery, next-generation sequencing technologies, proteome annotation, structure prediction, genome to phenome approaches to systems biology and more.

Peer-reviewed publication: Individuals whose poster or platform abstracts are accepted for presentation at the MCBIOS 2014 conference are eligible to submit a full paper to be considered for formal, peer-reviewed publication in the conference proceedings. The proceedings will appear in a special issue of BMC Bioinformatics journal.

A special NGS workshop is being organized on March 6 followed by a 2-day conference. Full details will be provided at the conference and are posted on the website.
