The short course on genome sequence analysis is all about bioinformatics for biologists. Participants will learn about the current state-of-the-art in computational and comparative approaches to genome sequence analysis. Topics will include computational methods for predicting genes and other biologically significant features in the genome, transcriptome analysis, phylogenomics and comparative sequence analysis. The course is a combination of lectures and tutorials with plenty of time for hands on exploration of example data sets. |
