Welcome to the second ISCB Regional Student Group - Southeast USA Symposium on Computational Biology held at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. Our mission is to promote, educate and provide opportunities for the next generation of scientist in the field of computational biology. This second symposium provides a venue to reflect on our humbled beginnings, and to plan for the future of student organizations in the Southeast and beyond. Our symposium will offer graduate/undergraduate presentations, workshops and invited keynote speakers: Ms. Katie Farney - TBD Dr. Sameer Varma - Molecular modeling of protein function, regulation and assembly Dr. Stuart Gordon - The effect of genotype and abiotic stress on maize phyllosphere microbiome composition and function The symposium will be held at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg, University Student Center (USC),December 13-14, Grand Ballroom, 140 Seventh Avenue South, St Petersburg, Florida 33201 |
