This year’s conference will be jointly held with the Australian Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Society (ABACBS) Annual Conference. The conference website can be found at https://www.abacbs.org/giw/ or https://www.abacbs.org/conference2019/about. For this joint conference, we solicit submission of full-length original manuscripts for consideration of oral presentation (following the tradition of GIW), and abstracts for consideration of oral or poster presentation (following the tradition of ABACBS). The deadline for submission of full-length papers is 14 June 2019. For full-length papers, we welcome submission of manuscripts that report original research, methodology, or software for consideration for oral presentation at GIW/ABACBS 2019. Accepted papers will be also be published in a special proceedings issue in one of our partnering journals (subject to final approval by the editors of the respective journal): BMC Genomics, BMC Bioinformatics, BMC Medical Genetics, and Journal of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. Your manuscript should present original contribution to all areas that are broadly related to bioinformatics, computational biology, genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, metagenomics, precision medicine and systems biology. Some key themes of this year’s conference include (but not limited to): Genomics and integrative analytics Precision medicine Single cell analytics Non-human and microbial genomics Proteomics and metabolomics Methods development and reproducibility research Submission is OPEN now: https://www.abacbs.org/conference2019/call-for-papers |
