The beautiful Renaissance city of Visegrad in Hungary will host the 3rd Interdisciplinary Signaling Workshop this July. Please see the full program on the event website: http://signalingworkshop.org/ Following the success of two previous workshops the aim of it is to offer a cross-disciplinary platform, where experts of their field (usually not speaking at the same conferences) share experiences, challenges and solutions with early stage scientists (PhDs and postdocs). The workshop will focus on experimental disease models (especially organoids), microbiome, multi-omics and modelling approaches around inflammation, infection and cancer. World-leading scientific and technology experts are confirmed as speakers (see their list below). The meeting will also promote innovative thinking and integrative future collaborations through group projects. The scientific program will be complemented with cultural, sport and open-air activities (e.g., Knights’ Tournament, catamaran boat trip) allowing the participants to develop informal relationships as well as to discuss integrative scientific problems in groups. ----- Confirmed speakers (Details: https://2023.signalingworkshop.org/program.html): Paul Wilmes, Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine University of Luxembourg, LU Nick Powell, Imperial College London, UK Jasmin Fisher, UCL Cancer Institute, London, UK Laurence Calzone, Institut Curie, Paris, FR Eduardo Villablanca, Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, SE Chris Tape, UCL Cancer Institute, London, UK Julio Saez-Rodriguez, Institute of Computational Biomedicine, Heidelberg University, Heidelberg, DE Fabian Frohlich, Francis Crick Institute, London UK Kristine Schauer, Gustave Roussy Institut, Paris, FR Joana F Neves, Centre for Host-Microbiome Interactions, King’s College London, UK Falk Hildebrand, Quadram Institute, Norwich, UK Cynthia Whitchurch, Quadram Institute, Norwich, UK Wilfried Haerty, Earlham Institute, Norwich, UK |
