Description |
|
The purpose of this meeting, the second in a series in the context of the DREAM project, is to bring researchers together to foster a dialogue on various aspects of reverse engineering of biological networks. Topics include algorithms for pathway inference, experimental designs and data types for reverse engineering, validation of inference predictions, metrics for inference and limitations of the reverse engineering approach. DREAM2 will also feature the discussion of five reverse engineering challenges composed of datasets which originated from a network unknown to the participants to the challenge. The predictors are invited to infer as best as possible the network from which the data originated. The actual networks, and the results of the predictions will be disclosed at the conference. Invited Speakers Include: Tim Gardner Ravi Iyengar Fritz Roth Chris Sander Ron Shamir Ilya Shmulevich Mike Snynder Peter Sorger Ioanis Xenarios |
