The 17th Annual International Conference on Intelligent Systems for Molecular Biology will be held jointly with the 7th Annual European Conference on Computational Biology in Stockholm, Sweden, June 27-July 2, 2009 (ISMB/ECCB 2009), where we expect over 1600 attendees. The conference will feature eight invited keynote speakers, approximately 50 original research papers presented in a proceedings track, and additional parallel tracks featuring special sessions of emerging topics, highlights of recently published research, industry presentations and technology demonstrations/workshops. In the longstanding traditions of ISMB and ECCB there will also be an extensive display of posters featuring novel scientific research and results, an exhibition of visually artistic scientific images, and ample networking opportunities during receptions, breaks and lunches. ISMB/ECCB 2009 will be preceded by the annual Student Council Symposium, a variety of Special Interest Group Meetings (SIGs), and a selection of Tutorials. |
