GLBIO 2015 Program Taking Shape!
The ISCB’s Tenth Great Lakes Bioinformatics Conference will be held May 18-20 at Purdue University. The event will offer outstanding keynote speakers, tutorials, workshops, oral presentations and posters.

ISMB/ECCB 2015: Call for Late Poster Submissions!
ISMB/ECCB 2015 will bring together scientists from a wide range of disciplines, including molecular biology, biology, medicine, computer science, mathematics and statistics. We are soliciting high-quality research posters in any aspect of computational biology.  Deadline for Late Poster Submissions: April 16!  Submit Now!

Professor Thomas Lengauer Receives Hector Science Prize
Prof. Thomas Lengauer, Director at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics in Saarbrücken, has been awarded the Hector Science Prize. The Hector Foundation II herewith honors his achievements in the field of bioinformatics and his commitment to teaching in higher education. The prize of 150,000 euros is awarded annually to outstanding researchers at German universities.
