On behalf of the ASCS 2024 Organizing Committee:

We invite you to join the 3rd Asian Student Council Symposium, an exciting platform for students and early-career researchers in bioinformatics to present their work, build networks, and develop valuable skills alongside leading experts.

Plus! For the first time, ASCS 2024 will be held in a hybrid format as a pre-conference event in advance of the 1st Asia & Pacific Bioinformatics Joint Conference on October 22, 2024, in Okinawa, Japan.

Before the main symposium, don’t miss the ASCS 2024 Pre-Symposium Virtual Metagenomics & Structural Biology Workshop on October 16, 2024, led by Prof. Edwards (Flinders University, Australia) and Dr. Choudhary (European Bioinformatics Institute, UK). Gain hands-on experience and enhance your skills in a collaborative virtual environment!

At the symposium, keynote talks from Prof. Asai (University of Tokyo, Japan) and Dr. Shim (University of Melbourne, Australia) will showcase the latest advancements in the field. Our panel discussion, "Bioinformatics Beyond Borders", will feature Prof. Aoki-Kinoshita (Soka University, Japan), Prof. Wang (Chinese Academy of Sciences, China), and Dr. Kumar (University of Delhi, India). The ASCS 2024 will also offer exciting competitions and opportunities for oral, poster, and flash presentations from students and early-career researchers.

Secure your spot today and be part of ASCS 2024 to connect, learn, and help shape the future of bioinformatics in Asia and beyond!

Registration is required for both in-person and online attendance via APBJC's registration system. Be sure to register by October 16, 2024, to participate in the virtual workshop!
