ISCB has two official journals, Bioinformatics, which has an open-access component and a traditional subscription component for printed issues, and PLoS Computational Biology, which is fully open access without a print edition. All members are highly encouraged to submit their best research to these journals.
For members interested in subscribing to print or online issues of traditional subscription-based journals, all members paying any of the three Professional dues categories of membership are entitled to the Professional Member journal discount pricing below. Members paying any of the three Student dues categories of membership are entitled to the Student Member journal discount pricing below.
Although discounted journal pricing is not further categorized by the World Bank list of economies, Oxford University Press does offer developing countries free (or greatly reduced) online access to many of their journals, including Bioinformatics and Human Molecular Genetics featured below. The offer is made in conjunction with the International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publications (INASP), and is only available for established not-for-profit educational institutes from qualifying countries.
